About me

Design is a team sport

Working with different teams and companies sizes, I learned that collaboration across teams, stakeholders, and users is reflected in a good design. Being an intermediary and a data driver is a key to success in design.

I’m Mariana, an Argentinian UX/UI Designer based in Munich, Germany.
My passion is to design interfaces that reflect the perfect equilibrium between users, business, and product needs. To reach that goal every member of the team needs to be involved in the design process to later, validate it with users and iterate.

Present:

My UX skills are helping Google to provide to billons of Chrome users a delightful experience on features related to their profile. I’m working as a contractor until December 2020.

Past:

When I moved to Germany, I worked on a start-up Whoppah, as the only designer involved from day 1, accomplished an ambitious project that involved mobile app, web design, all the material to promote the service, and a very extensive design system.

Before in Argentina, I decided to open my own business and got immersed in the process of “Business design”. I created “Hábitos” a healthy snack store that helps people to include good eating habits daily.

Before that, I was focused on my freelancer career offering memorable experiences to multidisciplinary teams from all over the world. My tasks were more than design interfaces, I developed the front-end, I lead teams of designers and even I managed projects.

But life is not all about work, is it?.

In my free time, you will find me doing exercises, hiking a mountain, planning my weekly meals, obsessing with Netflix, dreaming with my next trip, or improving my “art” skills.
Ah! I love dogs also, Clementina and Josefina are part of my adventures.
